A definite S-T-A-R. She made a few unwelcome changes to the original Aretha Franklin number at the beginning, but she quickly got out of it. She had the style to be a great soul-singer, and there was a bubbly charm about her in her introductory clip that I really found irresistible. She definitely connected with the audience-- they gave her a standing ovation at the end!-- and the judges loved her. A shoo-in!"

Can you believe this blogger is voting for another Singapore Idol but she is generous enough to say:

Why did you rank her that way?
She's appears to be nothing short of a seasoned, polished star. Onstage, her rendition of Chain of Fools was confident, packed with tons of personality, unique dress sense, with stylish dance moves to boot. Plus, she's a red-haired yoga instructor (at least in her piano show incarnation)-- you just can't go wrong with that.
How can she improve?
Her look in the auditions and theatre show was rather confused. She looked more like an ah lian than anything else, so I'd advise to stay away from blonde highlights, if any at all. Jaessea should stick to solid flush hair colours, and try to settle back into her glamorous flair, which she simply radiates in.
However, in order to push away from sharing limelight with Leandra under the umbrella of "Eurasian contenders", she has to work at maintaining a more reserved, calm personality when away from performing. Throwing in hints of Singaporean-isms will work for her, I believe, and get her away from the "foreigner fix" that Leandra quite advertently placed herself in."
